Kling 4.0
One take up to 30 seconds, built from your stills, clips and frames.
Kling 4.0 makes one continuous clip of 3 to 30 seconds with sound, from a prompt alone or from what you attach. In References you attach up to 10 stills and up to 5 clips and name each one in the prompt, as @image1 or @video1. In Frames you pin a first frame, up to 8 frames in between and an optional last frame, and it fills in the motion. Output is 720p or 1080p, in auto, 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 or 21:9.
Best for
- A 20 to 30 second product or explainer shot that used to need two clips and a cut
- Keeping a character, outfit or product the same, straight from your own stills
- Blocking a scene beat by beat with frames you already approved
- Ultrawide 21:9 openers, trailers and hero banners
Strengths
- Any whole length from 3 to 30 seconds in one continuous generation
- Up to 10 reference stills and 5 reference clips in one request, each named in the prompt
- A Frames lane: a first frame, up to 8 frames in between and a last frame, 10 in total
- Saved elements and voices keep a subject's look and voice the same from run to run
- Sound comes with every clip, or a reference clip can keep its own sound
- Prompts up to 8,000 characters, enough room for a full shot list
Limits
- 720p and 1080p only. For 4K, use Kling 3.0 or Kling 3.0 Omni.
- Frames cannot be mixed with reference stills, clips, elements or voices in one run. Pick one lane.
- Short clips take fewer frames: 4 at 3 seconds, one more per extra second, 10 from 9 seconds up.
- Reference clips are MP4 or MOV, 3 to 30 seconds each and 30 seconds in total.
- A reference clip adds billed seconds: the output length plus the longer of the output or the clips' total.
- Every @ in the prompt has to match something you attached, or the run is refused before any credits are taken.
Practical tips
- 01
Try the idea at 720p and a short length, then render the take you like at 1080p or longer.
- 02
Give each reference one job: one subject per still, called by the same @ name every time.
- 03
Make Frames as one set: same light, lens and wardrobe in every frame, so the motion between them stays believable.
- 04
Write a long take as beats in order (opening, turn, reveal, close) instead of one long paragraph.
- 05
Watch the whole take before you post it. Over 30 seconds small details can drift, so check faces, hands and any text.
- 06
Pick 21:9 only for clips that play wide. For feeds, 9:16 or 1:1 fills the screen.
Sample prompts
Copy one, paste it into Kubeez and change the details to fit your brief.
The chef from @image1 plates the dish from @image2 at a marble counter in a quiet restaurant kitchen. One continuous shot: a slow push in over the chef's hands wiping the rim of the plate, then the camera rises to their face as they slide the plate forward and nod. Warm tungsten light, steam drifting from a pan behind them, shallow depth of field. Sound: a low extractor hum, the soft clink of the plate on stone, a quiet "service".
@image1 a red tram waits at an empty stop at dawn. @image2 the doors fold open and a woman in a yellow raincoat steps down onto the wet street. @image3 the tram pulls away behind her as she walks toward the camera. One continuous handheld shot, soft blue morning light, fog lifting off the cobbles. Sound: a tram bell, hissing doors, footsteps on wet stone.
A 20 second single take in a sunlit pottery studio. Opening: a wide shot as a potter centers clay on the wheel. Then the camera moves in while a bowl rises between their hands. Then they stop the wheel and lift the bowl toward the window light. Close: a slow push in on the finished rim, dust floating in the sunbeams. Sound: the hum of the wheel, wet clay, a radio playing softly in the next room.
