ByteDance · Seedance 2.5
30 seconds in one shot, 50 references, native audio
Seedance 2.5 is ByteDance's long-form video model, and on Kubeez it is its own card rather than a fourth Seedance 2 tier. One generation runs 4 to 30 seconds at 480p or 720p, 24fps, with audio produced in the same pass. It accepts up to 50 reference assets — 30 images, 10 videos, 10 audio clips — and bills per second from the same credit wallet as every other model. Section stills are illustrative; outputs are video files.

Real Seedance 2.5 output, nothing recut and nothing graded. Three run the full thirty seconds the model tops out at. Each is 720p with the audio it generated in the same pass. Press play; nothing downloads until you do.
A worn leather ball in close-up becomes a Chinese ink-painting courtyard, then sunlit marble steps, then a mud-caked sepia match, then a floodlit modern stadium. One continuous move through centuries, in a single generation.
Twenty-six seconds of snack commercial on a pink sweep: a tiled pattern, crackers breaking apart in the air, fruit orbiting in, and the on-screen words the model rendered itself. No editor was opened.
Kernels in a hot pan go from oil to a full pan of popcorn across thirty seconds. The pan does not drift and what popped stays popped — the failure mode a short clip never has to survive.
A seedling pushes up through soil, sets a bud and opens into a white flower, focus riding the stem the whole way. Time-lapse look, single generation, nothing assembled.
Not four clips stitched in an editor. One prompt, one render, one continuous take that carries its subject the whole way through.

A single generation runs from 4 up to 30 seconds. Nothing is stitched: the subject, the light and the camera carry across the whole take, which is exactly what breaks when you assemble four short clips by hand.

Up to 30 images, 10 videos and 10 audio clips on one request. Reference video totals 30 seconds across all attachments, and reference audio the same, so a character sheet, a motion plate and a voice can go in together.

2.5 trades resolution for length: 480p and 720p at 24fps, no 1080p and no 4K — those stay on Seedance 2 Standard. MOV output carries 4:4:4 colour and PCM audio when the clip is headed into grading or keying.
Expose duration from 4 to 30 seconds, 480p or 720p, mp4 or mov, audio, and the image, video and audio reference slots. Prompts here are meant to run long — per-shot beats with timestamps are normal for a half-minute take.
Thirty seconds is a finished short-form post. One render covers the hook, the middle and the payoff, so there is no cut to hide and no continuity to patch between clips.

A product holds its shape from first frame to last, and a prompt written as timestamped beats drives them in order. References carry the pack, the mascot and the voice into the same render.

Duration, resolution, output format and every reference attachment are request fields on the Kubeez REST API and the Kubeez MCP server. Jobs that carry a reference video route to the cheaper matching variant on their own.

Open Media Studio, pick Seedance 2.5, set your seconds, attach your references, and stay on one credit balance.
