Generate a 30-second AI video in one render with Seedance 2.5

Most video models stop at 5 or 10 seconds and leave you stitching. Seedance 2.5 renders 4 to 30 seconds as one continuous generation with its own audio track, and new Kubeez accounts get starter credits to try it.

    • One 30-second take instead of four stitched 8-second clips
    • Up to 50 reference assets: 30 images, 10 videos and 10 audio files
    • Native audio, 480p, 720p or 1080p, mp4 or mov, straight out of one render

Four 30-second renders, none of them edited

Each clip below is one generation with its own audio: no cuts assembled afterwards, no upscale pass.

    • Five eras in one continuous move

A leather ball becomes an ink-painting courtyard, marble steps, a sepia mud match, then a floodlit stadium, without a cut.

    • A finished ad, typography included

Twenty-six seconds of snack commercial on a pink sweep, with the on-screen words rendered by the model itself.

    • A slow process held for 30 seconds

Kernels go from oil to a full pan. The pan doesn't drift and what popped stays popped, the failure mode short clips never face.

    • Macro growth in a single take

A seedling pushes through soil, sets a bud and opens into a white flower, focus riding the stem the whole way.

Why single-shot length matters more than it sounds

Stitching short clips is where AI video usually falls apart: the face drifts, the light jumps, and the audio has to be rebuilt in an editor. A 30-second single generation keeps the subject, the lighting and the sound continuous because nothing was ever cut apart.

    • Continuity holds across the whole run: same face, same product, same room
    • Audio is generated against the picture, so it stays in sync without an edit pass
    • Slow processes (a time-lapse, a build, a transformation) finally fit inside one clip
    • Cuts inside the clip are still possible; you describe them in the prompt instead of assembling them

Seedance 2.5 vs Seedance 2.0 Fast

Both live on the same video screen. 2.5 is the newer release and the one to reach for when length, reference count or a 1080p master is the constraint. Fast is the quick drafting tier and stops at 720p.

Both render at 24fps and support adaptive, 16:9, 9:16, 4:3, 3:4, 1:1 and 21:9. Seedance 2.5 does not do 4K; that stays on the standard Seedance 2.0 tier. Reference video totals up to 30 seconds and reference audio up to 30 seconds. Rates are per second of output and shown live on the model card before you render.

When 2.5 is the wrong choice

It tops out at 1080p. If the deliverable is a 4K master, standard Seedance 2.0 is the only tier that renders it. And it is not a drafting model: it costs more per second than the 2.0 tiers, so cheap exploratory takes belong on Mini.

    • Need 4K, use standard Seedance 2.0
    • Need the cheapest possible drafts at volume, use Seedance 2.0 Mini
    • Need a clip longer than 15 seconds, or more than 9 reference images, use Seedance 2.5

    How it works

    1. Write the whole film into the prompt

The prompt cap is 10,000 characters, which is enough for per-shot beats with timestamps. A 30-second render is a script, not a sentence.

    2. Attach the references that carry your look

Characters, products, a style frame, a motion clip to match, a voice or music bed: images, video and audio all go in the same request.

    3. Render once, at the length you actually need

Pick 4 to 30 seconds and 480p, 720p or 1080p. Billing is per second of output, so a 10-second cut costs a third of a 30-second one.

What a 30-second single render is actually for

    • A full social ad with a hook, a demo and an end card, in one generation
    • Time-lapses and transformations that need to stay continuous to read at all
    • Product explainers where the object has to survive every angle change
    • Story beats where a character's face has to match from first frame to last

    What you can feed it

    • Up to 30 reference images: characters, products, style frames
    • Up to 10 reference videos, 30 seconds total across all of them
    • Up to 10 reference audio files, 30 seconds total, for voice or music you want matched
    • A prompt of up to 10,000 characters, which is where per-shot timing beats belong
    • mov output when you need 4:4:4 colour and PCM audio for grading or keying

    Honest limits

Seedance 2.5 renders 480p, 720p and 1080p. There is no 4K on this model, so a 4K master stays on standard Seedance 2.0. A 30-second render costs seven and a half times a 4-second one, because billing is per second of output. Attaching a reference video adds billed input seconds on top of the output, floored at two-thirds of the output length. And starter credits are a one-time grant, not recurring free usage.

    FAQ

    • Seedance 2.5 does, at 24fps in 480p, 720p or 1080p, with its own audio. You pick any length from 4 to 30 seconds and it comes back as a single file: there's no stitching step and no separate audio render.

    • New Kubeez accounts get a starter credit grant you can spend on Seedance 2.5. It's a trial, not permanent free usage: rendering bills per second of output at the rate shown on the model card.

    • Per second of output, so a 30-second clip costs about seven and a half times a 4-second one at the same resolution. The estimate appears on the model card before you spend anything, and the rate climbs with resolution, so 480p is the cheapest and 1080p the dearest.

    • 2.5 doubles the maximum length to 30 seconds, triples the reference capacity to 50 assets, raises the prompt cap two and a half times, from 4,000 to 10,000 characters, and adds mov output. Both reach 1080p, on 2.0 only through the standard tier, and 4K, which 2.5 does not offer, stays on standard Seedance 2.0.

    • Both. A start image, a character sheet, a product shot or a style frame can go in as references, and the same 30-second ceiling and audio behaviour applies either way.

    • Yes, up to 10 reference videos totalling 30 seconds. Billing changes when you do: the render is charged for its output seconds plus counted input seconds, floored at two-thirds of the output length, at a lower per-second rate.
